Dangerous Album is by Michael Jackson. It was released on the 26th of November 1991 as the eighth album by Michael and his fourth under the record label Epic ( Sony Music Entertainment ).
The album took a year to produce with the overall theme being about racism, poverty, romance, the welfare of children, self-improvement and the wellbeing of the World.
There were nine singles released between the album’s release date and December 1993. Seven of the singles were released in the United States with two others released outside of the country.
The lead single, ” Black or White “, was released on the 11th of November 1991. It was written, composed and produced by Michael Jackson and Bill Bottrell.
The single entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number thirty-five and climbed to reach Number One. ” Black or White ” was the fastest chart topper in the United States since ” Get Back ” by The Beatles. The single topped the charts in eighteen countries worldwide.
The Dangerous album was a success for Michael. In the United States, it debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 Chart within a week. It spent four weeks at the top of the charts there. The Recording Industry Association of America ( RIAA ) certified the Album 7x Platinum, for sales of seven million copies alone in the country.
The Album reached Number One in the United Kingdom, where it spent one week at the top. The Dangerous Album topped the charts in most countries of Europe, although it reached number two on the Czech charts and six in Poland.
Outside of Europe, it reached Number One in Australia, number six in Mexico and number four in Brazil.

Michael Jackson was an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Michael was born on the 29th of August 1958 in Gary, a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States.
Known to millions of fans worldwide as the ” King of Pop “, he became one of the most famous entertainers in history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
He started his professional music career in 1964 when he joined his family in the Jackson 5. In 1971 started his solo career, and during the early 80s, his popularity soared with a run of hit singles and Albums.
To date, Michael’s Album releases are ten Studio, one Live, seventy-two Compilations, three Soundtrack, seven Remix, six extended plays and two Posthumous.
He also released fifty-nine Singles as the featured artist and was involved with sixty other singles.
On the 25th of June 2009, Michael Jackson died. The announcement of his death caused the internet to slow and put pressure on services such as Google, AOL Instant Messenger, Twitter and Wikipedia. Web traffic directly after his death was some 20% higher than average.
