The album was produced by Lance Quinn and Tony Bongiovi, the American producer and cousin of lead singer Jon Bon Jovi. He has worked with the likes of Gloria Gaynor, Talking Heads, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Ozzy Osbourne and the Ramones.
All but one of the fourteen tracks were written or co-written by members of Bon Jovi, with the track “She Don’t Know Me” written by Mark Avsec, best known for being a member of Wild Cherry who had a hit with “Play That Funky Music” in 1976.
