Fever Album is by Kylie Minogue. It was released on the 1st of October 2001, receiving excellent reviews from music critics.
The album, built around dance-pop with elements of 70s-influenced disco, also featured styles of synthpop and club music.
The Fever album was certified 7x platinum in Australia by the Australian Recording Industry Association ( ARIA ) and 5x platinum in the United Kingdom by the British Phonographic Industry ( BPI ).
In the United States, it was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In Australia, the album was the thirteenth best selling of the decade.
At the 2002 Brit Awards at Earls Court in London, Kylie won the Best International Album award.
The lead single, ” Can’t Get You Out of My Head “, was released on the 8th of September 2001, receiving positive reviews from music critics.
The single was a huge success reaching Number One in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and every other European country excluding Finland, where it peaked at number five.
It also made Number One in Kylie’s native Australia and topped the charts in Canada and New Zealand. In the United States, the song reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
The Fever album was a commercial success for Kylie. In her native Australia, it entered the Australian Albums Chart at Number One, holding the top position for five weeks.
In the United Kingdom entered the UK Albums Chart at Number One, spending two weeks at the top.
Kylie also had success in the United States; there the album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The Recording Industry Association of America ( RIAA ) certified it Platinum for shipments of one million units.
In Canada, the album reached number ten on the Canadian Albums Chart.

About Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian Singer and songwriter. Born in Melbourne, Australia, on the 28th of May 1968, Kylie started out in showbusiness by having small roles in soap operas like The Sullivans and Skyways, a series about the people who worked at a fictional Pacific International Airport.
Kylie became better known to the public when playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson in Neighbours, the Australian soap opera. Neighbours gained one of the biggest television audiences ever in the United Kingdom ( 20 Million ) when Charlene married Scot ( played by Jason Donovan ).
Kylie has since gone on to become an award-winning recording artist. In 2008 she was presented with an OBE ( Order of the British Empire ) by Charles, the Prince of Wales.
To date, Kylie’s Album releases are thirteen studio, eleven compilations, six live, eleven remixes, ten extended plays and two box sets. She has also released sixty-three Singles, eight singles as the featured artist and twelve Promotional singles.
As a multi-award-winning recording artist she has won, seventeen ARIA Music Awards, three Brit Awards, one Grammy, two NME and two BT Digital Music Awards.
As of 2015, her record sales have exceeded 80 million.
