Love Somebody Album is by Reba McEntire, the American country music singer-songwriter. The twenty-seventh studio album was released on the 14th of April 2015.
In October 2014 Reba signed with Nash Icon Records, part of the Big Machine Label Group, based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Shortly after it was announced to the media that work had begun on a new album, by which time eleven tracks had been laid down. Reba wrote on her website following the announcement: ” We’ve been working on it a long time, and we can’t wait to hear what you think about it. As you all know, I love looking for songs to record. I’ve said that many times. ”
Love Somebody received positive reviews from critics. Kevin John Coyne of Countryuniverse.net called it ” the strongest album Reba McEntire has released in more than twenty years. ” Adding ” After so many albums where she sounded like she was playing catch-up with younger artists who never had the talent to match her in the first place, she’s gone back to doing what she’s always done best. ”
Writing for Billboard.com, Jewly Hight wrote favourably about Reba’s delivery ” McEntire turns in lusty, emotionally committed performances throughout, letting one line catch in her throat and the next blaze with intensity. And these songs deserve it. ”
However there was some criticism for some tracks like ” Until They Don’t Love You “, which was described as an ” overcooked blues-rocker. ”
Love Somebody Album has been another successful release for Reba. As of September 2016, in the United States, it sold 202,400 copies.
The lead single, ” Going Out Like That “, released on the 6th of January 2015, was the first single from the singer under the new label. Written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip, Jason Sellers, it was produced by Tony Brown.
