The Four Seasons Album Vivaldi Classical Music

The Four Seasons Album is by Vivaldi. The Four Seasons is a group of four violin concerti ( concerto ), each giving musical expression to a season of the year. The violin concerti were written about 1721 and were published in Amsterdam around 1725.
Vivaldi published poems along with the concerti, unusual for the time, that set out to explain what it was about and intended to evoke.
His accompanying poems provide one of the earliest and most-detailed examples of what was later called program music ( music with a narrative element ).
The Four Seasons album by Vivaldi Conducted by Alexander Titov, the Russian conductor. Alexander studied at the Leningrad Conservatory, where he concentrated on three distinct fields, choral conducting, piano and operatic-symphonic conducting. He was a prize-winner of the 1988 International Min-On Competition in Tokyo.
The video featured is by the Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra and Ashot Tigranyan and not associated with Alexander Titov.

About Vivaldi

Vivaldi ( Antonio Lucio Vivaldi ), was an Italian Baroque composer, virtuoso violinist, teacher and cleric.
He was born in Venice on the 4th of March 1678. At the time the city was known as the capital of the Republic of Venice, or the Most Serene Republic of Venice.
Antonio is widely recognised as one of the greatest and famous Baroque composers in history. Baroque was a highly ornate and often flamboyant style of architecture, art and music which became fashionable in Europe from the early 17th until the latter part of the 18th century.
His influence during his lifetime was widespread throughout Europe. Although he composed many instrumental concertos, for the violin and other instruments, sacred choral works and over forty operas, he is best-known for a series of violin concertos known as The Four Seasons.
At the height of his popularity, he had numerous commissions from nobility and royalty across Europe. Despite the demand for his work Vivaldi died in poverty on the 28th of July 1741.
